Tempo Of The Heart invites you to join us at the Food For Thought – Benefit Concert to support the Hawai’i Farmers Union United and Mana’o Radio.
Participating artists are:
• The award-winning ukulele fusion rock band Kanekoa.
• The Deborah Vial Band
• Pat Simmons Jr. (son of famed lead guitarist for The Doobie Brothers, Pat Simmons)
• The internationally acclaimed artist, Steven Von Linne and Tropical Spice
*Update: unfortunately, Jeordie Schekeryk is no longer available to perform.
This is the first of four concert events to be produced by Tempo of the Heart over the next 24 months. Each event will increase in size, capacity and capability of bringing awareness and financial assistance to the Hawai’i Farmers Union United.
We want to bring awareness to a more healthy and productive farming and lifestyle choice, which is what HFUU does through its promotion of regenerative agriculture. We are excited to support such a wonderful organization that is respected and recognized as a voice for farmers, ranchers, and fishermen throughout the Hawai‘ian Islands.
A portion of each ticket sold to this concert will also be donated to Mana’o Radio, 91.7 FM, Maui, Hawaii, to help continue its tradition of providing multi-cultural programming that reflects the Maui community’s interests and values in a completely commercial-free, listener-supported, and volunteer-driven environment.
There will be a silent auction on the night of the event including donations from various businesses on island.
$25 General Admission; $40 Premium Seating
